Toyama Express
★★★★★
This week I found a new favorite restaurant in Charlotte, and I can’t wait to tell y’all all about it! It’s called Toyama Express and it’s a Japanese restaurant, with the best Japanese food in town! I had it first last week when one of my friends invited me to go. First you need to know that there is a Japanese restaurant in Monroe where I’m from that I eat at all the time, and I’ve been looking for a good place like it in Charlotte. When I took my first bit of the food at Toyama I knew it was going to be my new favorite. I ordered the hibachi chicken; it comes with mushrooms, rice, and sweet carrots. You get all of this for 5.99 and can add a drink for 99 cents. I love to go to Toyama when the weather is real nice, and to sit outside and eat! The people working are so nice, and like every southern boy knows, the sweet tea can make our break a place, and their sweet tea is off the chain! The first week I discovered Toyama I ate there three times in the same week. Every time someone suggests we go out and eat I always suggest we go to Toyama, because it really is that good. Below I’ll include the link to their website, a menu, and a picture of my food at the restaurant. The menu is full of things that I’ve never tried, but if they are anything like the hibachi chicken I’m sure they are amazing. I’m getting so hungry right now just thinking about all the good food a Toyama. Oh! I forgot to tell you about how good their shrimp sauce is, if the shrimp sauce isn’t good the food is ruined. They have the best shrimp sauce and they will bring you unlimited amounts of it! Haha! If I could give Toyama a 6 out of 5 stars, but I can’t so I’ll have to give them a strong 5 out of 5. If you are a fan of Japanese food, then you really need to get some friends or a date together and go get some of their amazing food! I recommend Toyama to people who aren’t a fan of Japanese as well, because this food will change you life, no joke. I haven’t ever had Japanese this good in my life, and it is so fast and cheap!
